An exceptional retail, dining and entertainment offer at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier

In a strong start to 2023, Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier announced it has signed 20 new brands and partners, with 70% of the retail, dining and leisure space of the destination now pre-let a full 15 months before the shopping centre is set to open.

Our upcoming flagship destination in Hamburg's HafenCity – one of the largest urban regeneration programmes in Europe – is due to welcome its first visitors in spring 2024. When it does, guests will be able to enjoy a wide range of exciting lifestyle and fashion brands, including a Breuninger flagship store as well as Boss, Gant, Lacoste, Mango, Scotch & Soda and Levi's. Zara will also open a new flagship at the shopping centre, with H&M, Snipes, Onygo, JD Sports, Bershka, Foot Locker and Stradivarius also joining the offer.

Featuring residential, hotel and office spaces with spectacular architecture, the destination will cater for all needs with an exceptional dining and entertainment offer, including one of the largest Legoland Discovery Centres in Europe and the digital art centre Port des Lumières.

A catalyst for environmental, economic and social vitality, the mixed-use project comprises a total area of 419,000 sq. m. and is set to be a beacon of sustainability. All buildings will carry BREEAM Communities and BREEAM New Construction Excellent certification, and for the first time for a large-scale project, the DGNB Gold.

Beauty mix at Westfield London

Beauty and well-being is set to be an engine of growth for Westfield in the UK, with more major announcements over the past weeks.

Beloved French beauty and skincare giant Sephora is due to open a new store at Westfield London in March 2023. The beauty lover’s destination will be spread over 6,000 sq. ft. and is set to showcase an exceptional assortment of products and personal services in a dazzling space, which will feature inspiring innovations. At the heart of the store, a "Grand Beauty Hub" will allow visitors to explore different make-up, skincare, haircare and fragrance experiences. The new store has been designed to surprise and delight customers, contributing to our Westfield promise to customers, “More Extra, Less Ordinary”.

Westfield London also saw the opening of the UK's largest Space NK store this month. The 2,500 sq. ft. retail space launched January 16 at the shopping centre in White City, featuring two new treatment rooms offering facials with skin care therapists.
